A Tuscaloosa Academy student was recently recognized for creating an app that allows people nationwide to register to vote via smartphone and also helps them in planning to vote.
U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt announced Tuesday that Brilyn Hollyhand won the Fourth Congressional District Digital App Challenge.
“I’m proud to announce that Brilyn Hollyhand of Tuscaloosa has won this year’s Fourth District Digital App Challenge,” said Aderholt (R-Haleyville). “Brilyn’s app, called ‘Your Voice,’ helps people quickly register to vote and helps them plan to vote. And it works for all 50 states.”
