Southwest Airlines is expanding its presence in the Caribbean, adding a new nonstop route between Indianapolis and San Juan, Puerto Rico, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The new seasonal service will operate Saturdays from June 4 through Aug. 3, 2026, offering travellers in the Midwest a direct link to the island’s capital. The route adds an estimated 1,575 seats annually to the air-inventory and is projected to generate an economic impact of more than USD 1,124,550.
