Former NBA star Patrick Beverley was arrested on assault charges in Texas on Friday, November 14, according to FOX 26.
The outlet reported that Beverley was charged with assault family violence/household impending breath, an enhancement charge meaning Beverley allegedly choked or impeded the breathing of another person. His bond was set at $40,000.
He posted bond on Friday, according to FOX 26, and was released.
The charge, a third-degree felony, is punishable by two to 10 years in prison in Texas.
