James Solomon advances to run-off mayoral race in New Jersey's second-largest city

Jersey City Council member James Solomon advanced to a run-off mayoral race slated for later this year, the Associated Press reported. The run-off election will be held on Dec. 2 after no candidate won the majority of the vote on Tuesday. His opponent has not yet been announced, the AP reported. The nonpartisan Jersey City mayoral race was crowded with seven candidates, including former New Jersey Gov.
