Hyatt Closes Eight Resorts in Jamaica Until 2026

Hyatt has closed eight resorts in Jamaica in the wake of Hurricane Melissa, Caribbean Journal has learned.  The company said it was conducting a “detailed assessment” to determine the extent of damage at its Jamaica resorts from the storm.  All of the resorts are part of the company’s Inclusive Collection; none of Hyatt’s resorts in Jamaica are EP hotels. At this time, eight different hotels under the Hyatt umbrella have suspended operations: Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Secrets St. James Mon
