Rep. Jesús "Chuy" García, D-Ill., is reportedly not planning on seeking re-election. The lawmaker, who was first elected to Congress in 2018, represents parts of the southwest side of Chicago.García, a longtime progressive, will not seek re-election as of Tuesday, FOX 32 Chicago reported, citing a source familiar with the matter.
