Coca-Cola Amphitheater set to open with star-packed 2025 lineup

After years of planning and construction, the long-awaited Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham’s Druid Hills neighborhood is set to open its gates Sunday, with a full slate of concerts, comedy shows, and cultural events on deck. The $46 million venue, built on the former Carraway Hospital site as part of the Star Uptown redevelopment project, has a capacity of 9,380 and promises to host some of the biggest names in entertainment in its inaugural year. The first performer to take the stage will be comedian Matt Rife, followed by chart-topping artists like Dave Matthews Band, Def Leppa
