American Airlines is expanding service to Aruba this winter, giving travelers from Philadelphia more options for a Caribbean escape during the busiest travel period of the year.
From Dec. 18 through Jan. 5, the carrier will operate two daily nonstop flights between Philadelphia International Airport and Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport. The boost in service is timed for the peak holiday travel season, when demand for flights to Aruba traditionally surges.
It’s a doubling of what would typically be daily nonstop service during that period.
