Alleged girlfriend of victim and another teen arrested after 16-year-old was fatally shot

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (TCN) -- Authorities recently arrested two teen suspects, including the victim's girlfriend, in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old. According to the Florence County Sheriff's Office, on the night of June 24, deputies responded to a report of a shooting on First Neck Road near Johnsonville. Responding deputies found the victim, later identified as 16-year-old Trey Wright, on the road with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased.
